Bana is currently a lecturer at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Maroua and a literature enthusiast, and is also active in the field of educational sciences: to this end, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Peace and Security, with a dissertation focused on security in crises situations and its impact on education in the Far North region. Member of the Centre d’Études et de Recherche en Paix, Sécurité et Intégration (CERPSI) and Coordinator of the Nexus Peace & Education Association, he has devoted several studies to the Koranic school and the difficulties of adaptation of this institution in the states of the Lake Chad Basin. As a consultant, he has conducted numerous investigations on behalf of international organizations, notably on the identification of barriers that limit refugees' access to education and on the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the prevention of violent extremism. Author of half a dozen articles on Cameroonian literature, he is also interested in issues related to education in emergency situations. Bana Barka is a graduate of the Université de Ngaoundéré and holds a PhD in African literature. Francisca is Brazilian and speaks Portuguese and Spanish.īana is the INEE Country Focal Point for Cameroon. She currently collaborates with the Education in Emergencies and Humanitarian Response Program of the Fraternity - Humanitarian Missions (FMHI). She supports the indigenous refugee population by providing Portuguese classes and by adapting pedagogical methods to solve learning difficulties and facilitate access to comprehensive education for children, adolescents, and adult refugees. She has worked with the Fraternity - International Humanitarian Missions (FMHI) in Boa Vista, Roraima since 2017. She has been a humanitarian worker since 1992. She has 35 years of experience in education, including education in emergency situations. She has a degree in languages and pedagogy, as well as post-graduate degrees in psychopedagogy, information technology in education, and school management and technology. Martin is Bolivian and speaks Spanish, Quechua, Portuguese and English.įrancisca is the INEE Country Focal Point for Brazil. Previously, Martin was the Director of the Agro-bioenergy Assistance Program to Farmers (Bolivia) Regional Emergency Coordinator for Save the Children Canada in which he promoted preparedness, response, and recovery actions in 12 countries of the LAC Region Consultant on new business development for the Christian Children's Fund of Canada (Paraguay) and Coordinator of the "Safe Educational Communities" Project for ADRA Argentina. Since 2003, he is the Bolivian Focal Point of the Sphere Network and contributes to the application of the Principles of Protection and the Core Humanitarian Standards in projects related to: safe schools, feedback and complaint mechanisms, attention to vulnerable groups, and containment and response to COVID-19. Since 2002, Martin has been a leader in the dissemination and training of trainers on Sphere Standards, INEE Minimum Standards, and Child Protection in Emergencies in 18 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also a professor at both Universidad Católica Boliviana and Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS). Currently, he is an international consultant in environmental management, disaster risk reduction management, and humanitarian standards. He is an Agronomist Engineer with a diploma in higher education and in agroecology. Martin is the INEE Country Focal Point for Bolivia. He also took part in the Korean Human Rights Institution’s leadership training and TOT on “Empower Leadership on SDGs and Human Rights.” Enamul is a Bangladeshi and speaks Bangla and English. In 1990, he graduated from the University of Dhaka with a Masters in Management, and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in NGO Leadership and Management from the University of Vermont’s School of International Training. In this role, he collaborates with various stakeholders, including NGOs, civil society, researchers, think tanks, teachers’ associations, journalists, local communities, and youth groups. Enamul is Deputy Director of the Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE), a national coalition for education in Bangladesh. He is also active in regional and global platforms in education. His engagement with the Education Watch, Community Education Watch, Youth-led action Research, different thematic groups, and teachers’ associations contributed to SDG 4. He is engaged in influencing policy and practice change discourse for economic, social, and cultural rights and development, including the right to education and education in emergencies. Enamul has been a humanitarian worker since 2012, and has over 28 years of development experience, which includes campaigning, research, and capacity building. Enamul Hoque is the INEE Country Focal Point for Bangladesh.
